Just a tip about whelping. If you go to Wal-mart and buy a package of the disposable bed pads you will find that clean up will be so much easier. They are very absorbent and you can just put down clean ones as the puppies are being delivered. I usually wait until the delivery is about to begin before putting them under the female because the momma will have a tendency to tear them up when they start digging a lot prior to having puppies. |
