If it were me, I would give the ebayer 3 days to respond to your email - with the holidays who knows if they are on line. If they don't respond then I would file a dispute. Especially if this person has a good rating, they will want to settle it quickly and quietly.
In all of my dealings with ebay I have only had one really bad purchase. The individual advertised "silk" and what I received was some cheap "silky" lining material. I contacted the person and he was rude and almost threatening. So I filed a complaint. Within hours he had refunded my total purchase and shipping -- I did send the item back to him at my cost, but it didn't cost nearly as much as the baby jumper will cost to ship.
