zak ... I think you might be having some problems because you're labelling her a "brat" and "stubborn"
she's neither
she's a dog
and dogs like to bark
you can stop her by getting her attention when she does ... and when she stops
you praise her
get her attention with a noise ... your voice (A one shot deal ... loud and to the point)
yelling her name and going on about her barking - you're just making her think that you're joining ing
