My son and I we use Excel Paw Protector, we get it at Pet goods or any good pet store, it protectsf paws from, gravel, asphalt,( specially with his Alaskan Malamute) ice, snow, salt treated roads, hot pavements and all hard surfaces. it also helps provide grip on slippery surfaces.
we been using it on Harry since we got him and Niko too.
Niko is an alaskan Malamute and his Paws are very good in snow but crack with any salt.
