Yeah, I definitely overpaid for him, especially considering the dental work he needs. What can I say, I'm a wuss. I was the one who suggested the sale originally, and I barely had the nerve to do that.

It ended up being about what I expected originally, so I'm fine with it. I'll work on the backbone later.

Anyway, I have a xeroxed copy of the check, and the dog, so I should be all set! I'm very excited. I'm teaching him how to get treats out of his treat ball this week. As I've mentioned, he's not the brightest dog in the world. He sees me put treats INTO the ball, and he gets very excited when treats come OUT of the ball, but it hasn't occurred to him that he could get the treats himself. So far I've trained him to touch the ball with his paw, and I give him an extra big treat if he actually moves it.
