Hello,

My Lexi just had her pups today and to my suprise 3 of them are chocolate! I saw the above post where they can be registered if both the parents are; however, I was just wondering if anyone had more information on that? On the AKC registration, it only gives you the option of selecting black/tan or blue/tan?

I am wondering if this chocolate genetic is something more common in boys since the orgional poster had 2 black/tan girls with the chocolate boy and I have 2 black/tan girls with 3 chocolate boys...interesting!

I attached a quick pic of the new pups and their exhausted mom.
