Even if well trained, wouldn't a little dog still chase a squirrel? I always had a leash on her in the car as well... they can always step on the window button and jump out when the window goes down (and she tried many times!). With my future pup I will crate her in the car in case there is ever an auto accident. I know, I sound crazy and super paranoid but I did have my Yorkie for 15 years and she wasn't killed in a senseless accident. |
