My pup was 4 lbs at 8 weeks, 5 lbs at 10 weeks, and 6 lbs at 12weeks. But now is only 7.2 at 20 weeks. they can go through growth spurts. I called him my little line backer because he was stocky and solid....well just recently he hit another growth spurt and is now tall and skinny. you just never know. I don't think the DNA is necessary. In the way two regular pups can have a tiny pup. Two standard dogs can also have a huge, by comparison, pup. If you were planning on showing I am very sorry....there is still a chance it could stay under 7 lbs, but it doesn't sound good.
