My Chewy once had tapeworms from eating a squirell.....ugh......but the vet gave her a shot and that took care of it. Your puppy should be fine by now. Just ask the vet when it's safe to sleep with her again. As I understand it, the tapeworm is immediately killed inside of them. I never did see anything in her stool after the shot.
