I heard around a year on here as well. However my vet told me to stop around 6 months. Basically the rule of thumb is when they stop growing, no matter what breed, they go off puppy food, with an exception here and there. Many large breed dogs go off puppy food sooner though because they are growing too quick for their bones, both my bloodhound and lab were taken off puppy food fairly early at my vets request.
