We got our Rowdy for my husband who doesn't feel well most of the time and is home all day, every day. I work so I am gone during the day. However, I had to get up with Rowdy, feed him, take him out, take care of him when he was sick, etc etc whenever my husband was in bed (which was ALOT). My hubby did care for him while I was gone though. So, at first he seemed to favor me - but now that he is 7 months old, I think he favors us about equally. For example, my husband has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks, and when he came home yesterday, Rowdy hardly left his lap. When I would go into another part of the house though, Rowdy followed me - but when I returned to the room where my husband was, Rowdy would get up on his lap and stay. It's like he thinks I'm alpha but he spends most of his time with my husband. One thing that I would do though, back when Rowdy seemed to favor me was to put him on my husbands lap over and over again - so that even though he thought I was alpha, I was telling him to stay with my husband. I think maybe that helped him to bond better with my husband. Now, I really think he is equally happy with either of us.
