Hair has so much to do with it! I give my Sophie a bath and she looks like a drowned rat! She looses half her size it seems. The vet says she is good though (she has food out all the time and eats only a little here and there). My larger dog is a bit over weight she will eat what she can get her paws on! We have to monitor her eating and she too seems hungry all the time, we were worried about it and the vet said she was actually over weight by 5 or so pounds and she was just very good at guilt trips! They are so much like real children its funny!
