At our vet here in CA they gave it with the 3rd set of shots, but maybe your vets plan is a tad different.. Just ask them and see what they say. I am glad he got it done though! the Home Again program offers a lot!! including a Free 24/7 poison control and emergency line for FREE when normally it cost around $85 per call just for them to tell you what to do
