Welcome and congratulations. I have had ones that are easier to train than others, but the key is being consistant and watching them like a hawk when they are not confined. I have 2 that are trained to go on pads and my pom goes outside only, my one that I got as an adult and not trained didn't take to pad training and goes outside but she does have accidents, but I am to blame for not watching her closely. I crate trained them at first, but once they were housebroken, they were given run of the back bedrooms. One thing since you are going to be leaving her part of the day, I would make sure when you first get her to come and go so she gets use to you not always being there. Enjoy!!
