Hi, and

to YT.

I have heard it can take up to 3 years for the color to completely break and turn blue.

I have also heard the lighter the blue, the quicker it will turn.

My little girl "Bug"...started turning about 6 to 7 months.

Here are a few pics that shows her color changes.

1. shows her at about 3 months.
2. shows her at about 7 months, just starting to break.
3. shows her at a year old...a dark steel blue...the color I liked the most.
4. shows het at 18 months...she is now a platinum silver.

However, when I cut her real short...she is the pretty dark blue steel color again. Only gets plantinum when I let it grow out.
