You have been on my mind all day.....I have a Matthew...he is my oldest....and believe me....being divorced when he was 2.5 years old, I worried about him a lot. He went to live with his Dad at 14, after his Dad planted the "famous seed" that he could come when he could make the decision for himself.....Oh, believe me...this crap that some"Dad's" think they can pull, to be able to "teach their kids something" is a just a lame excuse for the fact that they weren't there for their sons...So, I know how you and your Mom worried about your Matthew, because I did the exact same thing...

I am sorry to get on my soapbox. But, to expect a boy at 17 to be responsible in this day and age, is not to smart of the adults caring for him. Oh, gosh, I said I would shut up......I am just so upset for you, and I grieve for this special young man, who because of circumstances can't grow up to be the man you believed he could be.
