Hahaha, it's hilarious you should post about this. Before we got Nikko, my DH calmly informed me that he doesn't do that high pitched baby talk stuff to dogs - he said he would just be talking to him normally.
Needless to say, he now coos and baby talks just as much as I do, lol. He's even taken to calling me mommy and himself daddy, which I'm sure he never would have thought he'd do in a million years. He's a good daddy. ;-P Our favorite high-pitched baby-talk phrases include, "precious little boy," "poor baby," "daddy's/mommy's little boy," "good potty!" and of course "such a good boy!!!!"
