I feel your pain! This past summer my daughter caught them, I still cant pinpoint who it was from because we were so many places that were full of children i will tell you it was one of the worse things to get rid of.I would strongly advise you to stay away from over the counter shamppos such as rid and nix they are very toxic and harmful. The combs that come with those kits are useless. I bought this comb and its the best thing ever

It is safe and non toxic. Once you use the shampoo you have to be very persistant with the nit combing.

I tired the vinegar, and mayonnaise neither worked for me.
