it makes me feel better to hear you say that. well, maybe he thought we would make good parents by talking to us (me and fiance)
when i was looking for a yorkie. some breeders i contacted were so strict. they would ask me questions that were hard for me to answer. like "why do you want a yorkie?" " have you ever owned a small breed before?" the thing is i NEVER owned a dog before, and i wanted a yorkie because i think they are VERY cute dogs! i would just tell the breeders the honest truth, but then i always was afraid that they would say that i do not qualify to own a dog!
maybe they weren't strict. maybe those are normal questions, and i was just nervous because i really wanted a doggie.
one of the breeders i talked to was so funny. she was educating me on how to select a yorkie, because she didn't have one available for me, and she told me there are a lot of ugly dogs (she was talking about yorkies) out there. and i didn't laugh out loud, but i was laughing secretly. because i think all the yorkies are so cute, and i can't believe she would say that there are 'ugly' yorkies!
(but i think she is talking about show dogs, like good looking show dogs, instead of just a cute pet puppy
