I took Nikki in as the bleeding continued and the straining when she went to go the bathroom. Turns out she needed an operation for kidney stones. She was able to get the operation and come back to her puppy at the end of the day. What a mom! She is doing well this morning. This was the first night she didnt have to go outside every 4 hours so I feel rested as she must! We will find out what caused the kidney stones as soon as we get the report back. She has no history and is only 3 years old. I did have her fixed while she was under. She had her one pup and that is enough. Thanks for all your help gals.
