Embarassed Yitzee Has Blisters/Sores All Over!

Please tell me if I'm doing the right thing. I read on a few posts that Yitzee's (Miss Yips) problem might be solved with oxydex, pyobin or chlorhexaderm shampoo. On those posts, I read that some posters had used clearasil or stridex with the benzoyl peroxide (the main ingredient to the shampoos). I got out my stridex and put it on a few of her blisters (they pop and turn to sores about 2-3 days after they appear). Low and behold--the blisters and redness were nearly gone today (applied last night) that I put it on. I put some more on her tonight and held her for about half an hour so that it could dry and she didn't lick....woohoo!

I live in the Virgin Islands and have taken Yitzee (Miss Yip) to the doc before for this 3 times at least and he keeps telling me allergies or ph balance out of whack. She hasn't had the problem for over a year now (the whole time I've been out of the Virgin Islands). Do any of you think its heat and bacteria? Heat meaning weather. Yitzee is spayed.

I don't have air conditioning (few do down here because it is tolerable because of the ocean breezes). I keep fans on her and Oscar (her adopted younger yorkie brother) during the day when I'm at work so it stays pretty cool in the room. However, it is also very humid down here so I'm thinking it could be a mix of the heat, moisture, etc.

I'm thinking I need to put in an air conditioner or something. I hate these blisters and I hate the fact the vets here and in the U.S. have such a problem coming up with a diagnosis.

Any thoughts?
