When I used to have Sasha on Nutro, she would eat 1/2 cup twice a day. Once I switched her to Solid Gold, I thought that it seemed like an awful lot to be feeding her especially since it's a better grade of food as did some other YT members. She now gets 1/3 cup twice a day and I free feed it. She doesn't much eat at all in the morning, usually around the late afternoon-evening she'll go and eat and then usually will eat a 2nd serving kinda late at night. Everyones dog is different though. Like "Nancy1999" said, I would think about asking your vet how much he should be weighing and maybe get his/her opinion on how much he should be getting. Explain his eating habits to his/her so he knows what you're dealing with. Good luck! |
