I called my vet and confirmed it probably has to do with tooth loss. He suggested I get a "mouthwash" for dogs at Petco or PetSmart. He told me to have her rinse. (I just laughed at the thought of getting my dog to swish and gargle!) He said you can squirt it in their mouth and they will swallow it and the good smell will basically come from the stomach. I will give it a try along with brushing. |
