When we're ready for a brother or sister for Tucker we will be going to a breeder or a rescue organization. |
I, too, had a similar experience with getting Isla from a pet store. I live in a town where there aren't many options for getting a yorkie. I grew up with one and had always wanted one sometime. To get out of the house and do something new to entertain the kids, we would go visit pet stores and saw Isla one day. I was sold. This was before I knew about the puppymills and stuff (although they did have a sign up saying they do not buy from puppymills). sure... I even asked the store for the "breeder's" number to ask them question, which they gave me. When I called it was an older woman who answered and it sounded like she had to recollect facts on which puppy I had purchased.
Anyways, Isla is 5 months old and so far healthy. I hope she stays that way! I love her to pieces! Next time, breeders for sure!
