We e-mailed for info so she could register Maddy, and never got a reply.
It was Christmas and she had just gone through a pet trauma, and in the mind set of "you get what you pay for," I got her The Madd. There was a guarantee, $500 vet insurance policy, and 1 week return policy.(Like that could ever happen.) We took her to "Their" vet, who knew what to look for in "Their" puppies, and anything she had was taken care of. We had as best an experience as we could have at the time. Would I do it again? No. I would go to a breeder. If I wasn't on this forum, How would I find the breeder? | I hate to burst your bubble but Great Breeders/Reputable Breeders would NEVER send their pups to be sold at a pet store. You may have had a good experience and I'm happy for you BUT PLEASE don't think for a minute that they are great. They buy from Hunt Corporation - Please google them and read. If you've read through the posts you will see that I have no vested interest here. I've researched and I can tell you that the way a petstore makes their dollar is to buy cheap and in bulk and sell high. The way a miller makes his or her money is to sell cheap and in bulk. Do you think that a good breeder would sell her puppies cheap enough so that a store can make the kind of profit they need to make in order to stay in business? I'd suggest you take a look at prisoners of greed and learn about mills and petstores. Elaine |
