It was stuck ...I was doing my best but it was not moving . Then I realized that Piper was in trouble the pup was in trouble and if it did not come out...well you all know. I pulled the pup down and out towards Pipers jaw and am still surprised at how much force was needed, I thought I could have broken it's little bones ... Pup (girl) came out and was limp . really struggling and did not look right at all ....suction was taking out alot of fluid ....I paniced threw down the suction and (sorry) covered the pup's nose & mouth ...sucked it out myself ..little movement, used a warm towel wrapped it up and gave the pup tiny breaths ...
She came around so fast after that ....Piper is doing great . She is a terrific Momma does anyone have any advise on what I could have done in addition ? Or what should I be looking for with concern to Piper , pups in the next few days ?
I think I am keeping that last Puppy ...her name is Lucky
Wow that's super cool...your really brave... My baby is pregnant and expecting at the end of December... I've bought nursing bottles just in case and a Veternarian Handbook on dogs which has some very informative info on the entire process...

Congrats...I plan on keeping one of my babies also. Because she is 4lbs she may only have 3 pups... Anyways...post pics if you can and maybe we should get together one day so our dogs can meet and play...
