 Black and gold.
Does anybody else have a black and gold yorkie (adult)? My pup Ollie is almost 10 weeks old now and he is still as black as the ace of spades with gold trim. He shows no silver at all except one streak on his forehead. It doesn't appear very silver/blue at first glance, but if you part the hair it is "shiny" underneath.
I've seen very few black yorkies from the ones I've seen on the site so far, so I was just curious. Should he be showing blue or silver yet? I'm just surprised because his dam was chopped down (so I couldn't see her full coat) but his sire was pure silver and gold. His littermates were very dark as well.
Do you think he will stay black and gold? |
