Wow...you did a great job! I hope the babies continue to do well.

When I took my boys out to the vet I used a microwavable heated pad wrapped in a towel with a small fleece blanket over that...they were in a small container with the lid sitting loose on the top. I had Molly in a seperate kennel. I was afraid to put her in with the babies because she might step on them so I took them in their own container.

I was told to cover the kennel (or container) with a towel and take along either a towel or disposable potty pad to lay the babies on rather than anything they use there so there is no chance of contamination. Make sure they wash their hands before handling the babies and don't let the Mommy walk on the floor. You might want to ask the vet if they've had any cases of parvo or anything that would put them at risk by bringing them in to the clinic. My husband waited with ours in the truck until they called us in and then we brought them all in.
