I am so sorry about the situation. Most people not understand about this small breed and unfortunately the furbabies pay the price. Years ago I had my first yorkie, Pebbles, she got pancreatitis from table scraps. It was a very emotional experience and about a $1,000 later she survived the ordeal. The intent was not malicious but just uneducated. People do not realize that we can eat many things that are not good for us and it could take years to see the results, (heart disease etc. ). Yorkies eat the same thing and the result is seen almost instantly, it is toxic to their small bodies.

Unfortunately, some people just do not understand the seriousness of the situation and will never get it. I know many people like this. Hopefully when they know better they will do better. Good luck in protecting your furbaby.
