Haha, this post sounds like it could have been written by me! Miles got neutered a week ago, and from the time he got in the car at the vet, he was bouncing off the walls! I expected him to be drowsy or something, but that was definitely not the case. When we got home, he was jumping on and off the furniture and wanting to run around and play.
I tried to keep him occupied by giving him a big flavored bone to chew on, and packed his Kong toy full of treats. It also helped to be a little lazy myself and sit on the couch and watch a movie with him (I typically don't ever sit down and watch TV!). When I went to work, I put him in his crate so he wouldn't be jumping on and off things...although I'm sure he was still plenty active in there.
Just keep an eye on the little guy, and check his incision periodically. The first couple days are the hardest, but it should start to heal pretty quickly. Good luck!
