Although, it is always better to buy from a place where you can see the parents....you cannot continue to beat yourself up over this. Unless you can see into the future, you had no way of knowing how this pup was going to look.
As long as they love her and are providing her a good home..give yourself a break. You know you are not a bad malicious person and so does your cousin, I'm sure. But, I do understand what you are going through, I have family just like that....
