I became Vegetarian this past May, so this is my first vegetarian holiday. I bought a Tofurky to take to my moms on Thursday and then I am taking the left overs to my In Laws on Friday. I am also making up my own vegie gravy and a side dish of roasted vegies to my inlaws.

I do not use dairy or soy milk in my cooking at all due to my son having allergies, so we use Rice Dream rice milk. But I really like Silk Soy milk, I use that to drink, make a smoothie for myself, or have cereal.

Trader Joes is my favorite place to get my Vegetarian products from, they have a few vegan cheeses available, I can't think of the one I had tried about 2 months ago, but it was good. I am going back next week and getting more Also their are other non dairy or vegan cheeses at the regular store like Krogers, our's has a great vegetarian section. They carry the Amy's kitchen "fast" foods, I love their Pop Pies! They are very flavorful and you do not miss the meat not being in at all. Target aslo carries some vegetarian foods as well.

Vegetarian Recipes | VegCooking.com has great recipes and also list egg substitutes that you can try. For baking cakes or other sweeter baked goods you can use a banana or apple sauce in place of the egg. Also tofu (1/4 cup per 1 egg) can be blended with the wet ingredients , then added to the dry.
