That really sounds like reverse sneezing to me. It sounds exactly like the dog is coughing up a hairball (IMO). Just to be safe you can get him checked by vet, HOWEVER: make sure your vet knows about reverse sneezing. I mentioned this on another thread, but a friend of mine took her healthy yorkie to four different vets before it was identified as harmless.
Does the puppy seem distressed otherwise? |
