Some puppies bite and some don't, I really don't think it has anything to do with when they're taken from their moms. My oldest I got one day shy of 7 weeks, she never has bitten me, playing or not. The one I got that was around 5 mos. bit me all the time. sounds like you have a very sweet/loving puppy. Can't wait to see him.
