I didn't have it trimmed any shorter, as a matter of fact it seemed like it was left longer than usual. It is so weird! Thank you for all your help!  |
I would guess that probably a long time ago that bunch of hair got pulled out. When that happens the new hair has lots more pigment and comes in darker. As it grows out it dissipates and blends in with the rest. It was apparently hidden by the longer hair over it until now and it just happens to have been long enought to have been cut to the same length as the rest this time.
In a few months or so it will probably disappear as that hair grows out more.
