That happened to my adult Shih Tzu, Joe, earlier this year. His eye looked far worse. You could see a perfectly round circle that was the wound (We think the neighbor shot him with a bb when he was in the back yard) and his whole eye was swollen and completely clouded over. The whites of his eye was dark red. Antibiotic drops cleared it up, his vision is fine, and I thought for sure he would lose it!!
I think your baby will be fine. You caught it early and you're treating it.
