Mine are all going on 5 and i joined 55 dog groups to learn and educate myself but it was after the fact and i feel it is so important to know upfront as i was shocked at cost of vet care and how things can turn so quickly with these little guys. I am so thankful i can afford to care for them and devote alot of time to them as i do not have skin kids but I wish i was much more informed.

ITA and I think that is what the others were trying to do.
I was trying not to be active in that thread---because I'm very much against puppy mills---and I get so annoyed when someone won't be open minded enough to look at the facts. Yeah it is the person's choice to get the dog where she gets it from---but does that make it right?
I mean (potentially) giving money to people to be cruel to animals doesn't sound like a right thing. Nor do I think that it is right to keep quiet. Buying a pup from a bad breeder has serious financial and emotional reprecussions and I think that people here wanted to prevent that.
This is why that issue is important to me... But this is just a mb--we shouldn't get personally upset or anything like that. We need to chill.
