I think some rules of thumb are:
1) When posting, try to be tactful.
2) When reading, stay relaxed. Even if someone posts something that seems like a personal attack, they don't really know you. It's easy to think you know someone on the web, but you are only seeing a tiny part of their personality.
3) Remember, it's much harder to convey tone in writing. This goes both ways. You may post something you think is neutral and find someone else takes offense to it -- or you may be offended by something that was not intended that way.
Easier said than done, I know. But hey, we're all training our yorkies, right? It's all about positive reinforcement. I'm so proud of everyone for posting here! You're doing such a great job! Have a cookie. |
I think this Newbie (no offense..lol) has put posted the best thoughts yet!!!! thank you so much...I will also work on doing the same! |
