Ok, I just called my vet's office back because this was annoying me so much. I talked to a different lady who works in the back. I recognize her voice from her dealing with my Pug dog's dental surgery last year. She seems wonderful. Without telling her that I'd already called yesterday, I asked her all the same questions and got completely different answers. She said that it sounds like Missy definitely needs the Nutracal, and to continue giving it to her as long as she seems to need it. She also said that the food I am giving her now is fantastic and much better than Science Diet. I was *this* close to changing vet's today. I'd already gotten 3 recommendations for vet's to call this afternoon. After I had my chat with her, I told her about my experience yesterday. She said the lady that I was talking to was actually the office manager. She did NOT sound pleased.
Anyways, now I can let it go. I'll quit bothering you guys with my rant
