| Oh my God, what an absolutely awful position to be in! That is soooo hard, I really feel for you girl! I know just how heart crushingly disapointing it is when your plans change at the last minute, it happened to me twice before I got my pup four weeks ago.
Are you sure there are no other breeders you could go to and meet that're closer to you? It is always, hands down, better to meet the breeder, parents and the pup before you bring him/her into your home. Shipping a puppy you've never met is such a risky business, you could probably sue the hell outtsa them if they lied to you about anything or something goes drastically wrwong, but that wont mend your broken heart.
What I find so confusing and unpredictable is just how little you can tell what a Yorkie adult will look like as a pup. More often than not they change a LOT. Totally hard to work out! lol Also, I know how hard it is to wait, but 12 weeks really should be the minimum age for a puppy to leave their Mother/siblings. It is time they will never get back and is sooooo worth it in the end, honestly. It means you will end up with a more well adjusted, happy, confident dog. I know it is hard to wait, and some breeders aren't prepared to keep them that long, but you will not regret it if you wait, where as you might well refret it if you take that 8 week old pup home.
I realise what everyone is saying probably seems like an attack, but it's not. We just want to see you with the healthiest, best suited puppy. We're completely behind you, I promise.
I hope your decision is not too hard and that once made you feel better and happy about it. Let us know what you do, wont you? Cant wait to hear!
Jess
