Update: I have decided to go along with the neuter and he is getting neutered next week on Wednesday. I thought the marking was going along great but yesterday when my friends pug came over he snuck out of sight for a minute and this morning I found drops of dried pee. He also pooped. This is really strange because I take him out so often and he pooped once before when I had him the first time. I thought he was potty trained, but for poops if I don't take him out exactly when he wants to go he poops in the house I think. I guess he always has to be on a leash again.
