Yup, flea combs work for us, we clean him at least once a day, sometimes twice (morning and before sleepytime). Yoda gets gunk in the corners of his eyes and the area around his eyes are wet. As for how to clean him, basically we used to have one person hold him and one person use the comb, but after many, many, many times of doing it, he did finally get used to it and let us clean it for him.
And it's so cute too, cuz he knows when we're working on the eye to close that particular eye. So Yoda knows how to wink!
