It sounds like you have everything you need. Formal Announcements are usually sent out to family & friends that you would like to share the wonderful news of your daughter's graduation, and gives them the opportunity to send a graduation gift. The announcement has all the details of the ceremony taking place, but most are aware that there is usually a certain number of friends/guests invited to the ceremony itself. If your daughter has a certain number that she can invite, then I would notify them personally if it was me, along with the announcement. That way you will know immediately if they are able to attend. It's usually very close family/friends any way that attend. Sorry, I noticed you are also having an open house? For that, maybe you could also include a notecard/invitation to open house along with the announcement, so that you don't have to mail twice.
