I just want you to get the best friend you can for your pup.
I *really* want a Golden. I have loved them since I can remember. I didn't get one originally because I was living in an apartment... and my Molly she is obsessed with them. She has neighborhood golden boyfriends... however, I would never get one for this reason.
If you get a pup from a breeder, make sure he/she is reputable and evaluates the pup's personality for you. If you want a mellow pup---tell them so.

Do you know what breed you are interested in? Are you going to stick with a yorkie? There are oversized yorks...
