I just recently went through something like that myself. I was looking all over for a puppy, when I found this web-site with Yorkie puppies for $350. I thought to myself, “Wow this sounds too good to be true!” Unfortunately, it was. I sent him a few e-mails, he asked about my family and where I was from. Almost everything seemed legit, (There were a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes in his e-mails, but I didn’t think too much about it!) He kept telling me he wanted his “babies” to go to a good home. Then he told me where he was from, I really can’t remember his exact location, Victoria something. But he said I would have to send him $250 for the flight and once the puppy was sent to me I would have to pay the carrier $100. Long story short I did a bit of research on-line and found out this was a scam!!! I was just happy I found out before I sent him the money! |
