When I first got my puppy, I didn't want to leave her in a crate, so I bought an Exercise Pen, put 3 potty pads in the back end of it, her bed in the middle, and her food and water on the side. I think this is a better alternative to a crate because since they are still little puppies, they may need to relieve themselves in the middle of the night. But always change potty pads daily if you decide to use them. And don't forget to praise your puppy when you catch he/she using the potty pad. Hope this helps!
