The other night about 10:30 I took the kids out ....just in the backyard for their final pee run before bed.
I"m standing there looking around waiting for'em when I happened to look up and notice .....somethin' strange up on my neighbors fireplace chimminy
Really Quite large with pointy ears. Didn't take long to figure it out It was a Great Horned Owl!!!
That guy must have been a good 2 foot tall. gotta tell ya' got the kids back in the house fast' and made sure the slate was in the pet door that night!
Those birds are big enough to easily carry off a small to med. size Yorkie or cat so as I always say.....Watch the sky....even after dark' not all the widdle birdies are in their nests sleeping after dark.
