We know she has allergies to fleas, so she is sprayed with Adams spray. I bathe her with oatmeal shampoo once a week. Could nerves be part of this? There's been some tension in the house lately. its the food. she needs to be in a high quality food and beneful is not a good food. As soon as you switch you should start noticing a difference. however keep in mind it could take to up to a month to notice- I would recommend Natural Balance white fish. It's a GREAT food with high quality ingredients. When you make the switch make is SLOWLY and keep in mind her poop might be loose for a while- her body is woring on getting rid of the "crap" and it is cleansing itself.
Don't bathe her as often- try to make it every 2-3 weeks. The bath dries her skin out.
If she is having a particularily difficult day- you can use Children's liquid dye free benedryl to take the edge off- don't use it regularly or it will loose its effectiveness- the benedryl might make her drowsy as well.
But you NEED to change the food to see a difference.
