Last night I tried the leash thing and telling him no everytime he did the sniffing I'd tell him no. All it did was make him scared of me and he would cautiously walk up to Nicky instead of running up to him (because he was scared). I did this for 20 minutes or more. If I'm going to hire a trainer, I might as well just get him neutered. This morning he was the same as before so it didn't help at all. I'm going to see if it improves by tomorrow night, otherwise I'm going to talk to my parents and the owner and see if I can schedule him a neuter on Friday. I really think it will improve his behavior. I just can't handle him like this. It is too hard on my dog. I love my dog more than anything in the world and I don't want to put him through this his last few months. |
