I would hate to scare you but I might ask for a chest X ray. A dog from a pet store comes from who knows were and could have been exposed to who knows what. He could have some type of lung infection. Most of the time pet store dogs come from puppy mills. The dogs are most likely kept in small dirty cages and end up inhailing there own waist which causes serious lung problems.
What are you feeding him? What was the pet store feeding him?
Is he drinking all right?
How is his energy level?
